1936 US Christmas Seals, Fifteen Dollar "Health Bond", Never Folded!

This lot consists of a
1936 National Tuberculosis Association US Christmas Seals, Fifteen Dollar "Health Bond", featuring the Double-Barred Cross of Lorraine, the printed image of the 1936 stamp on the outside, and the ten coupons.
They were sent out to donors folded in three like stock certificates.
This one is the seldom seen "never folded" version, which I am not sure how it was sent to the donor or how it survived in an unfolded state, but if you are a fussy collector, it is much more desirable in this condition.   I confess that I am hopelessly in love with these, and how very clever their concept and design.    in 1936 is like 0 today, and that would have been a lot of money in the depression years...
This stuff is just wonderfully interesting and hopefully will find a home in a specialized collection.
Condition is lovely ex-nr-mint and a great addition to your cinderellas.
