Hello, I'm Oleksandr Zinchenko, a Manchester City and Ukraine national team player.
I don’t just play for this country. I'm its citizen. Now, Ukraine is defending itself from Russian aggression. Thousands of people are dying.
Russian troops have already destroyed several cities. Bombs and missiles fall and hit homes of civilians.
I was born and raised in the Zhytomyr region. On March 8, a Russian aircraft attacked Malyn, a town near Zhytomyr. A family and a small child were killed.
I also have a little daughter. My heart breaks when I think of how many children of her age are dying now, and how many more will fall victims of this war.
More than 140 kids have been killed so far. If no one stops the invasion, this number will only grow.
I ask you, speak out loud about it! Don’t be silent, until children stop dying every day. Please help us with your voices and support.
Stop Putin! Save Ukrainian kids!
