    Fabulous Vintage 1940s Cherubs Covered Ceramic Bisque Handled Lidded Bowl, Japanese, Hand Painted, Hand Made Bowl with Cherubs, Florals, Gold Gilded
    Very Nice Lidded, Handled, Oval, Domed Hand-Made and Hand Painted Bowl has lots of nice details, including a 3 dimensional roses between each cherub and around the base, and gold details throughout vessel. Piece is family heirloom in excellent well cared for condition, and measures about 9" across handle to handle and 7 1/2" tall x 6.5”W handle to handle.
    I am pleased to offer this Beautiful Vintage Japanese Handled Two Piece Bisque Ceramic Covered Centerpiece Bowl For Your Consideration. Note the precious faces and the delicate wings of the cherubs, and flowers that 'bloom' from the sides of the bowl. It is approximately 9” inches in length handle to handle, 6.5”W inches wide handle to handle and 7.5” inches tall. Very nice Vintage workmanship. The lidded bowl has three seated cherubs serving as its handle, plenty of gold gilding and other gilded decorations. The large oval domed lid and bowl is decorated with gold gilded stripes around the perimeters of the base lid, with gold splatter designs and gold ribbons around the waists of the cherubs; and then the two pieces have raised three dimensional florals. The set is cream colored hand painted with raised pink florals on the lid and the bowl, the seated cherubs / putti serve as the handle on the lid. Beautiful vintage 1940s workmanship. Family Heirloom; on close inspection; has a minor chip on tip of thumb on one of the putti; and one minor chip on one of the florals on the lid; not noticeable, unless you are looking for them; otherwise no other damage to bowl. Very light surface wear, if any; See Pictures. Pictures are part of the description. It used the have a label on the bottom of the maker, but fell off over years.
