Vtg.Japanese Ceramic Lidded Box Figural 3-Dimensional Man's Face Mask Yaki Soba

Found at a recent house estate sale is this vintage ceramic lidded box with a man's face as the lid in very good condition with no damage or hidden repairs. It is clean with no stains and was only used once. The owner told me that years ago the box was purchased on a train heading for the ski slopes of Japan and was used to hold Yaki Soba or Eki Soba, a Japanese noodle dish. You can see three holes on the lid to let the steam escape from the bowl. The noodle bowl is a grayish tan color and measures with the lid on 5 1/2 inches wide, 5 1/2 inches deep and 3 1/2 inches high. The seller told me these were discarded on the trains after use.
